Mr. Retka
Industrial Technology at Skyview Middle School is a required class for all students in 7th and 8th grade. The course consists of 18 technology modules, which are seven days in length. Students are given the opportunity to choose modules but are paired randomly by computer scheduling. Students generally complete 6 rotations per trimester.
Each module consists of pre and post-tests, research questions and hands-on activities. Information is presented using computers, video, CD- ROM and textbooks. All activities, excluding tests, are completed by the students working cooperatively in pairs. All tests are completed individually.
