 2009-2010
This year I will be teaching several math groups as well as several social groups. I will be testing out how I want to represent them on the website so that parents and students know which group they need to follow. Please bear with me as this is new to me and if something does not work I will be changing it.
Math (all groups)
Currently all math groups need to have the same materials to create a portfolio. They need a 3 ring binder 1-2 inches, dividers for the 3 ring binder and notebook paper (one package). They will also need a calculator, pencil and their agenda daily. The portfolios will stay with students most of the time, they will be responsible for bringing them to class. The portfolios have 5 sections: Warm-ups, Lessons/Activities, Vocabulary, Assessments, and Journals/Reflections. The portfolios should remain organized and clean, students will turn in portfolios for an overall grade at least once per trimester to be cleared out.

The portfolios will be stored in the social skills room unless the students choose to have them with them or take them home. There may be times they have something to show to parents or guardians or they may need to do some work at home for class.
